Portugal Rugby Youth Festival is back, and back in person!

Now that the pandemic is slowing down by the day - or so it seems -, restrictions are easing and events are coming back.

Sports events, because of their highly physical contact nature, suffered a heavy hit, and in 2020 were forced to adapt, as was the case with the Portugal Rugby Youth Festival (PRYF). But it wasn't always like this, and it won't be like this year either. In 2021, on October 23 and 24, the greatest youth rugby international tournament is back, and back in person!

PRYF 2021 postponed: meet us in Lisbon this coming October 23 & 24

The 13th edition of the Portugal Rugby Youth Festival, previously scheduled for April 10 & 11, is postponed until October 23 & 24. Move Sports, the event organiser, makes this decision in recognition of the uncertainty that involves the current pandemic situation, which still implies numerous restrictions to travel and sports events organisation.

On that same date, but in 1989, the UN General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of Children that Portugal ratified on September 21, 1990.
